I’ve visited 31 different cities out of 26 countries in Europe so far. Each of them gave a different impression to me. Here are my top 3 best places to visit in Europe from my travel diaries:
3. Venice, Italy
There is so magical about this place. The enchanting beauty of Venice, a unique city built entirely on water, where magic and romance abound.
I wandered the city for about 3 hours with colleagues back when I still flying as cabin crew. Despite the hassle, I enjoyed every minute of it. You won’t feel any tired feet because you got to see its picturesque canals, historical architecture, romantic gondola rides, stunning St. Mark’s Square and artistic heritage. Although I missed the chance to ride a romantic gondola, the charm of the city felt like I had it all to myself. The people were lovely, there are areas of the city which was a lot of fun because there were people all over the square just hanging out and making friends. The city itself is just so awesomely beautiful to me. Furthermore, it was a perfect romantic getaway, sometimes felt like in a fairytale.

2. Paris, France
A city renowned for its fashion, food, history, art and breathtaking architecture. There’s a reason why notable world personalities have all lived in Paris at one point in their life.
It seems to be a polarizing city. People either fall in love with it or feel underwhelmed. For me it was definitely the former. It’s just so remarkably stunning, has so much to do, and has amazing places. I also really enjoy the vibe of city. The architecture of the buildings along the Seine River are utterly beautiful. It’s a big city yet doesn’t feel chaotic to me. Regardless of what those who have experienced or seen it say. Paris is Paris. Whether you’re visiting the iconic Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, or the artistic haven of Montmartre, there’s always something new to discover. My favorite memory? Strolling along the Seine River from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre, feeling like my dream of experiencing Paris had truly come to life.

Palace of Versailles, a stunning luxurious palace. It is renowned for its opulent interiors, extensive gardens and Hall of Mirrors. The design is considered masterpieces of French Baroque architecture, particularly the iconic Hall of Mirrors. I’m glad to witness this majestic palace!

1. Barcelona, Spain
It is worth seeing with your own eyes, the architectural masterpieces of Barcelona are truly impressive. Walked your feet off that trip and eat amazing food.
Sagrada Familia is one of the most astonishing things I have ever seen in many, many years of world travel. I almost cried when I entered the Basilica . You have to see this in person! Been there twice, and it’s almost impossible to capture the beauty of the light filtering through hundreds of stained-glass windows. No photo does this place any justice, believe me, I’ve been there twice! It’s the most emotionally astonishing I’ve ever felt inside a building. Before ever seeing it in person and only seeing photos I thought the building was just ‘okay’ and not appealing at all. However, once you can go and see it up close to witness the amount of detail is incredible and such a beautiful sight. It is unbelievably breathtaking. I often wonder, if it is still under construction until today.

LA Rambla- Great memories here with my uncle and his wife when I started flying as a flight attendant, never thought I would see the vibrant place. Best place to taste some of the Spanish cuisine.

Parc Guell- Don’t miss Parc Güell, inspired by Antoni Gaudí’s fascination with nature, a whimsical park filled with multi-colored mosaics and organic forms. In 1984, UNESCO declared the park a World Heritage Site under “Works of Antoni Gaudí.” Gaudí’s creation is truly mesmerizing!

If I could squeeze in even more of my top three must-visit destinations, I would! With endless adventures and breathtaking sights, Europe is a valuable collection just waiting to be explored. What are your top 3 best places to visit in Europe? Share your thoughts or experiences in the comments!
